Giveaway – Win $100 in Foster Farms Baked Never Fried Frozen Cooked Chicken! Ends 5/17

Let’s talk kids and food. I know I am not the only one who falls into the no-time/kids-only-want-junk-food category when it comes to feeding the offspring. My kids are so picky! They literally only want chicken nuggets and pasta. So instead of fighting them I got some Foster Farms Baked Never Fried Frozen Cooked Chicken to see how they liked it.

I found them in the freezer section of my local Safeway (check Albertson’s too). Right there in the case were the three varieties that are available – Breast Tenders, Breast Fillets, and Breast Nuggets. Easy peasy. I grabbed all three and made my way to the register.

Verdict? They didn’t like it. They LOVED it. For me the Breast Tenders were easy to prepare (put them right in the oven), they go great with anything – especially my kids favorite, red bell pepper “fries”, and finger foods mean there aren’t as many dishes to wash after dinner is done. They’re fully-cooked so you just take them out of the freezer and heat and serve in under 12 minutes in the oven, or 2-3 minutes in the microwave.  Even I liked them! They aren’t greasy, they are actually healthy, and go great with my favorite honey mustard dressing! 50% less fat, 25% fewer calories means I don’t feel bad about eating them either…

You can find Foster Farms Baked Never Fried Frozen Cooked Chicken in the frozen section of most Safeway and Albertson’s locations – and if you don’t see them be sure to ask! All Foster Farms chicken are 100% all natural chicken with no added hormones or steroids, made with white meat and of course are Baked NEVER fried.
