Being from the Pacific Northwest, we have a few guilty pleasures – the PNW rain, the smell of the trees, and best of all – the food. Portland is fast becoming well-known for sustainable food sources and urban farms. Foster Farms® believes that everyone should have that experience, which is why their 3 new lines of fresh chicken – Foster Farms® Fresh & Natural and Foster Farms® Simply Raised (without antibiotics) – are now available at most grocery stores on the West Coast (Oregon, Washington, and California), and Foster Farms® Organic on the shelves at Costco Stores and select grocery stores. You have not lived until you have had fresh, 100% natural chicken – free of antibiotics and steroids, always 100% vegetarian fed, and processed with no added sodium. Plus these products are all American Humane Certified.

Family-owned and operated since 1939, Foster Farms is the West Coast’s leading poultry producer. With the introduction of Foster Farms fresh Organic and Simply Raised antibiotic free lines, there is now something for everyone under the Foster Farms brand.

I decided to try Foster Farms® Simply Raised (without antibiotics) Chicken Tenders. I found them easily in the meats section of my local store – they are very easy to spot with the green packaging. Foster Farms® Organic was available too – again easily distinguishable from the other varieties. I made a delicious meal – Bacon Apple Chicken Kabobs! These were amazing and so easy to make on a warm summer evening.
