Popcorn with Savory Butters

Parmesan Popcorn

Ingredients

  • 8 cups popped corn
  • ¼ cup (½ stick) Darigold Butter
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Servings: Makes 8 Servings

Directions

  • Place popcorn in a large bowl and set aside.
  • In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat and stir in parmesan cheese.
  • Pour butter mixture over popcorn and toss to coat.

 

Spiced Lime Popcorn

Ingredients

  • 8 cups popped corn
  • ¼ cup (½ stick) Darigold Butter  
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon finely grated lime peel
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Sea salt to taste

Servings: Makes 8 Servings

  • In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Stir in the spices, lime peel and salt.
  • Pour butter mixture over popcorn and toss to coat.

 

Curry Butter Popcorn

Ingredients

  • 8 cups popped corn
  • ¼ cup (½ stick) Darigold Butter
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 ½ teaspoons curry powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Sea salt to taste

Servings: Makes 8 Servings

Directions

  • Place popcorn in a large bowl and set aside.
  • In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Stir in the brown sugar, curry, cayenne and salt.
  • Pour butter mixture over popcorn and toss to coat.
